My whole family is involved in education. Every one of my Mum’s siblings and her parents have some type of education degree. My dad’s sister is studying education too. Our family also own a business in education. My aim is to be a primary teacher. Growing up, Papa would question us on general knowledge. So, when I was younger, I would set my younger siblings and cousins activities, mark it and give it back to them.
Currently at home, three people are studying, but it will be my turn soon.
I had such great teachers growing up, and I want to be like them. I fear for kids that struggle to learn and I want to find ways for them to learn for themselves. Kids often pick up on the attitude that teachers have towards them, and I want them to learn in a way in which they can feel safe. I want to be a part of their growth in our future.
