“I’m going to be a foster mum. My own mum raised us in a home where people could stay who needed a bed or space to get back on their feet. I’m used to that. She was a really inspirational woman who set me up for what I have been able to do and what I will do. I’m embarking on this journey hoping I will provide whatever I can for them until they can make their own choices as an adult. There will be ugly times, its not always going to be roses. If you think that then you will just be lying to yourself. But I believe that no matter what you do it makes a difference and the more you give the more both you and the kids reap.”
